Already long ago the Bible-scientist P.J. Wiseman has demonstrated that it is very plausible that Moses, in writing the book of Genesis, made use of docu­ments written by a limited number of eye-witnesses. See e.g.: Damien F. Mackey, The First Book of Moses and the 'Toledoth' of Genesis (also in German), and the numerous good literature references in it, a.o. to the original works of P.J. Wiseman.

The fact that the four antediluvian rivers of the Book of Genesis are still basically identifiable to day, see previous posts, means that the great Flood of Genesis could not have been global, wiping out all vestige of the former world.

Moreover, we have shown at http://genesis1.blog.com/ that the 'Six Days' of Genesis 1 have nothing to do with the duration of God's work of creation, but pertain to a written account of that Divine work already affected.

THIS NEW FLOOD OF EVIDENCE WASHES AWAY TWO KEY PILLARS OF 'CREATIONISM', SHOWING THE LATTER TO BE QUITE UN-BIBLICAL.
